One of buySAFE‘s investors is Core Capital. Core Capital is a $370 million fund located in Washington, DC. Core has been a fairly active investor in 2006, and this week, it was announced that Core led a $4.4 million Series B investment in Inlet Technologies.
Inlet is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and it provides a video
encoding technology. Previously, Inlet raised $5 million in July
2005. In addition to Core Capital, other investors in this round of
financing include Technology Venture Partners, Telecommunications Development Fund, and Capitol Broadcasting Company.
Inlet’s video encoding technology is used to distribute digital
media such as video-on-demand, packaged media, broadcast and IP
connections.
